Angular momentum of zero-frequency gravitons

چکیده

By following closely Weinberg's soft theorem, which captures the $1/\omega$ pole contribution to amplitude for graviton emissions ($\omega<\Lambda$) on top of an arbitrary background hard process, we calculate expectation value graviton's angular momentum operator collisions dressed with radiation. We find that result becomes independent cutoff $\Lambda$ frequency, effectively localizing at $\omega=0$. In this way, our comes from zero-frequency modes. Like formula has exact dependence kinematics particles and is only a function their momenta. As example, discuss in some detail case $2 \to 2$ scattering spinless General Relativity ${\cal N}=8$ supergravity.
